Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility in undertaking a variety of assignments and tasks
- Collaborative spirit with a willingness to learn
- Attend newsroom meetings
- Research stories for digital and linear platforms
- Gather video elements
- Assist in transcribing interviews
- Support reporters and producers
Internship Details
- Each internship is for 20-30 hours per week for up to 12 weeks
- You will get the opportunity to work at DC News Now in the News Department. This is to help you understand how a TV station is run and how content, including sports content, is developed and shared on all platforms (digital and linear).
- Interns will be supervised by the manager and participate in a meaningful learning experience.
- This is an unpaid internship, and the Intern is not entitled to wages or any compensation or benefits for the time spent in the internship.
