Universal Utility Operator

Schedule:

Full Time: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday -Friday and some overtime may be required

Position Summary: 

The Universal Utility Operator will float between departments as needed per the production schedule. They will assist with fiber mixing and forming, machining and inspection. This position will be fast paced and requires attention to detail with minimal supervision and ability to switch from job to job effortlessly. 

Position Responsibilities: 

• Follow production schedule
• Weigh and mix material as needed 
• Perform mold set ups for production
• Operate a machine and inspect parts to verify quality
• Adjust current machine cycles when required
• Assist operators when needed
• Set up and Operate drill press and band saws
• Load and unload CNC machine.
• Ability to operate a lift truck
• Must maintain minimum daily production counts
• Must be versatile    

Position Requirements: 

• Excellent Attendance 
• Ability to read Blueprints 
• Ability to use Hand tools  
• Ability to use power tools
• Good math skills
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally 
• Operate programmable controls 
• Be mechanically inclined
• Attention to detail 
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must follow all safety requirements
• Basic computer skills
• Able to wear a respirator
