Responsibilities

Conduct ultrasonic testing on materials and components to identify defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Interpret and analyze test results, preparing detailed reports for quality assurance documentation.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain and calibrate ultrasonic testing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and quality standards.
Assist in training new team members on ultrasonic testing procedures and safety protocols.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in ultrasonic testing technology.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in non-destructive testing (NDT) preferred.
Proven experience in ultrasonic testing or a related field.
Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
