Position Overview
The UF Evaporator Operator is a key member of the Ingredient Department at California Natural Products (CNP). Reporting to the Supervisor of Ingredients, you’ll operate and monitor production equipment, maintain product quality and safety standards, and support basic equipment maintenance while following CNP procedures, GMPs, and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor UF/Evaporator process systems and equipment.
- Record critical process parameters and take corrective action when needed.
- Prepare and process product batches to required specifications.
- Perform product testing, including Brix, pH, and temperature checks.
- Verify and track ingredients and maintain quality standards.
- Perform CIP/COP cleaning of tanks, product lines, silos, and other equipment.
- Complete basic preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and work orders.
- Assist maintenance mechanics with major repairs and changeovers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked work area.
- Communicate safety, quality, equipment, and production issues to the team.
- Follow GMP, GFSI, food safety, quality, and plant safety standards.
Requirements
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or GED.
- Forklift certification.
- Ability to operate and monitor production equipment safely.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of pumps, valves, piping, and related systems.
- Strong attention to quality, safety, and process requirements.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
