This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in operating Turret CNC Machines, manufacturing experience, CAD/ CAM, and basic foundational knowledge with programming (preferred but company will train). Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC turret presses and laser machines in accordance with traveler instructions and blueprint specifications.

  • Create, modify, and maintain CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to support turret, laser, and additional manufacturing processes (e.g., water jet, router).

  • Perform tool maintenance and manage turret tool setups, ensuring machine readiness and operational efficiency.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure reliable performance.

  • Collaborate with the Operations team to align production priorities, maximize machine utilization, and maintain efficient part flow.

  • Participate in the evaluation and onboarding of new manufacturing equipment and technologies.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials; issue and track materials used in production.

  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing and programming standards and best practices.

  • Provide training and ongoing support to fellow programmers in CAD/CAM software and CNC processes.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within manufacturing and engineering functions.

  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate manufacturing outcomes.

  • Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers) to inspect parts and maintain quality control standards.

  • Participate in design reviews and support the development and enforcement of engineering standardization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across operations, sales, and quality to support broader company objectives.

  • Foster and maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in CNC programming and operation, particularly with turret and laser machines.

  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam, or equivalent).

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

  • Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools for part inspection and quality assurance.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

  • Commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and knowledge sharing.
