Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for our Jamestown, NY client.Our client is looking for a Turret Press Operator. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate Amada CNC turret punch press and/or press brake machinesRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawingsSelect, install, and adjust tooling (dies, punches, fixtures)Load, position, and align sheet metal materials for processingProgram or adjust machine settings for accuracy and efficiencyMonitor machine operations and make adjustments as neededInspect finished parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Maintain tight tolerances and ensure product quality standards are metPerform first-piece and in-process inspectionsTroubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenanceMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and use required PPEAdditional DutiesSupport production goals and deadlinesAssist with material handling (may include forklift use)Track production and complete documentation as requiredCommunicate issues or improvements to supervisorsHours are M-F 6 am to 230 pm with a chance of OT.Pay is between $20-$25 based on experience.
