Job Overview:

BHJ USA, LLC. is a leading supplier of fresh/frozen meat blends to both the wet and dry pet food industries. We are seeking a motivated individual to operates a tractor trailer truck to transport and deliver refrigerated freight locally or within an 80 mile area by performing the following tasks:

•    Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants

•    Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

•    Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

•    Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts

•    Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc) as well as with company policies and procedures

•    Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

•    Collect and verify delivery instructions

•    Report defects, accidents or violations

•    Adhere to all safety guidelines and wearing of all required safety gear (PPE)

•    Adhere to attendance guidelines of the company.

•    Secure product quality during transportation 

•    Perform periodic washing of tractor and trailer to keep clean and orderly

•    Schedule maintenance and service when due

•    Participate in job and safety training offered and required by the Company

•    Maintain good housekeeping of work areas

•    Other duties as assigned.


High school diploma or GED preferred with at least 2 years experience or equivalent education and/or experience. Must also possess the following skills:

•    Ability to meet all DOT regulations

•    Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

•    Ability to complete all assigned tasks and shifts as assigned according to production requirements

•    Ability to work as a part of a team and treat coworkers with respect

•    Experience operating a tractor trailer

•    Experience in the meat processing industry is desired but not required

•    Valid CDL Class A license


Two positions available - one is a morning run about 5 hours, one is an evening run about 5 hours. Monday - Saturday.

Must be able to work around raw beef, chicken or other similar raw materials and odors.
