Job Description

Honsador is hiring a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver (CDL Class B) to support daily deliveries of building materials to our customers and job sites. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials are delivered safely, on time, and with excellent customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate company delivery truck safely and professionally (CDL Class B required)
• Deliver lumber, building materials, and related products to customer sites
• Load, secure, and unload materials safely (including use of forklift when needed)
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance
• Follow all safety policies, traffic laws, and jobsite safety requirements
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, yard staff, and customers
• Complete delivery paperwork and documentation accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of truck and report vehicle issues promptly

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license (required)
• Current Medical Examiner’s Card (or ability to obtain)
• Clean driving record and strong safety awareness
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor environments
• Experience delivering building materials preferred (but not required)
• Dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented

Preferred Skills

• Forklift experience
• Knowledge of lumber/building materials
• Jobsite delivery experience
