1 | Trailer Relocation: Efficiently and safely maneuver trailers within the company’s dock and parking lot using a yard truck or similar equipment, ensuring proper positioning for loading, and unloading operations. | |||
2 | Inspection: Conduct inspections of yard trucks and trailers to ensure they are in good working condition. | |||
3 | Maintenance: Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor and perform minor repairs, as necessary. | |||
4 | Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. | |||
5 | Coordination: Work closely with warehouse, shipping department and drivers to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of trailers. | |||
6 | Coordinate to complete any other work. | |||

Job Requirements | Language | Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin. - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership, and customers. | ||
Experience | 3+ experience as a Yard Dog Truck Driver or similar role(Required). | |||
Education | High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) | |||
Physical Condition | The employee is regularly required o stand or sit for long periods. Duties will include driving yard dog or other similar equipment | |||
Other Requirements | License: CDL A (Required) Ohio CDL Instructor's License (Preferred) MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. COMPUTER SKILLS - Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software. | |||

V. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses and steel-toed work boots. | ||||
