Job Overview:

JOB SUMMARY:

Employee drives a tri-axle tractor-trailer truck to deliver products to JENNMAR Holdings,

LLC customers that are primarily in the coal mining and/or tunneling industries. Employee

is responsible for operating a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all applicable

requirements set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier

Safety Administration (FMCSA), all state and local regulations, and all Marjenn

Trucking/JENNMAR Holdings, LLC rules and procedures. Employee will safely load,

properly secure, safely transport, and promptly deliver products to the customer. Employee

will represent Marjenn Trucking and JENNMAR Holdings, LLC in an efficient, courteous,

service-oriented manner throughout the delivery process.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 No Minimum Educational Requirement – High School Diploma/GED Preferred

 Valid CDL Drivers License Required

 One-to-Two (1-2) Year Commercial Driving Experience Preferred

 Three (3) Month On-The-Job Training Required


QUALIFICATIONS:

 Possess and maintain a commercial drivers license (CDL) and state-certified driving

history record free of violations

 DOT-required satisfactory driving record(s) from previous employment, if applicable

 Possess and maintain MSHA training at all sites

 Ability to follow safety rules and procedures set forth by the DOT/FMCSA, JENNMAR

Holdings, LLC, and Marjenn Trucking

 Dependability to be consistently at work and on time

 Functional listening, verbal and written communications skills to personnel, and

customer(s)

 “Team” mentality with a quality assurance, safety-oriented mindset

 Total visual field and multiple limb coordination

 Possess the following repetitive physical capabilities during normal job performance:

sitting, driving

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Conducts a pre-trip and en route walk around vehicle inspection noting and reporting any

deficiencies to ensure that the vehicle is properly fueled and roadworthy throughout all

phases of the delivery process

 Completes log book entries and all other required paperwork

 Comprehends and acts on instructions from Marjenn dispatcher including safely loading

and securing products for transport

 Identifies and follows the best travel route taking into account weather conditions, road

restriction and points of congestion

 Monitors and inspects the vehicle load frequently to ensure compliance with regulatory

securement standards

 Operates the vehicle safely in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations

throughout all phases of the delivery process

 Maintains Marjenn Trucking and JENNMAR Holdings, LLC customer satisfaction

standards through efficient, courteous and service-oriented communication throughout all

phases of the delivery process.

 Performs preventive maintenance and light/medium duty repairs.

 Cleans and maintains a safe tri-axle tractor-trailer.

 Keeps accurate records on equipment.

 Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 Majority or work performance is driving a company-owned tri-axle tractor-trailer that is

equipped with a climate-controlled cab, air ride suspension, jake break, radio

communication and a sleeper to transport products to customers.

 Adherence to DOT, FMCSA, state and local, and Marjenn Trucking/JENNMAR Holdings,

LLC regulations is strictly enforced.

 Safety training, written procedures, personal protective equipment, and continual

improvement measures are implemented to remove or minimize any

physical/environmental hazard(s) that may be present.


PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:

 Job performance demands constant application of the following physical requirements:

coordination.

 Job performance demands occasional application of the following physical requirements:

lifting (Avg. 50 lbs.), carrying, walking, standing, overhead reaching/lifting, bending,

pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, twisting, climbing, balancing, near/far vision.
