Job Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher / Transportation Coordinator to join our team in a direct-hire capacity. This position is responsible for coordinating freight movements, dispatching drivers, and ensuring efficient daily operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Driver check-in and communication
• Organize and coordinate daily pickups
• Post and manage available loads
• Route planning and scheduling
• Dispatch drivers and monitor load progress
• Enter orders into the system accurately
• Communicate and update operations on any load delays, issues, or deviations
• Ensure timely and efficient freight movement while providing excellent customer service

Schedule: Hours will vary depending on the freight division assigned:

• Local Freight: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Regional Freight: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• OTR Freight: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Shifts are typically 10–11 hours per day.

Additional Information:

• Employees should bring their lunch daily, as there is generally limited opportunity to leave the facility during the workday.
• Drayage experience is a plus.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.

Compensation:

• Salary in the mid-$40,000 range, depending on experience and qualifications.
