Job Description

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is a national leader in utility and heavy equipment solutions. We are seeking a Paint Shop Prepper / Sandblasting Technician to help prepare and finish utility trucks and equipment for production.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Overtime available

What You'll Do

• Perform paint preparation, sandblasting, masking, and taping
• Clean and prepare surfaces for painting and coating
• Fill cracks, holes, and joints to specifications
• Hang and remove parts from paint racks
• Apply non-skid coatings
• Clean and maintain paint equipment
• Remove paint overspray and perform final quality checks
• Operate a forklift to move and stage materials
• Assist with minor assembly and wiring tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Important Requirement

• Must be able to pass a respirator fit test
• No facial hair on the cheeks that would interfere with respirator seal requirements
