Position Summary:

The Trial Garden Coordinator plays a key part in maintaining the quality, presentation, and success of our trial garden throughout the growing season. The Trial Garden Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day garden operations, plant care, and supporting the evaluation of crops and native plants. The trial garden is instrumental in helping determine the products we will offer to our customers, making this role an important contributor to future business decisions. This is a seasonal position with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. 

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm 

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare soil, including tilling and garden preparation
• Plant crops according to seasonal timing
• Maintain the garden, including watering, weeding, fertilizing, herbicide applications, and overall plant care
• Harvest crops at appropriate time to ensure quality and yield
• Perform garden clean-up and end-of season tasks
• Assist with growing and maintenance of native plants
