Traveling Welder Opportunities – FlexTrades

FlexTrades is hiring experienced Welders for upcoming manufacturing projects across industries such as aerospace, medical, HVAC, and pressure vessels (ASME work). All work is performed in indoor production environments.

Pay and Schedule

• $30–36 per hour (depending on contract)
• 50+ hours per week
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Weekly gross: approximately $1,965 to $2,295

Travel and Benefits

• Paid travel to and from the project
• Paid lodging (single-occupancy hotel room)
• $45 per day per diem
• Full benefits package available

Employees are allowed to bring spouse, family, or pets. You are responsible for pet fees or deposits at the hotel.

Job Title: Traveling Welder (MIG, TIG, or Flux-Core)

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols (AWS)
• Follow weld prints and identify layouts
• Meet production and daily output requirements
• Use grinders and hand tools for cleanup and finishing
• Ensure weld quality meets inspection standards
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG, TIG, or Flux-Core welding in production
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols (required)
• Understanding of weld quality standards
• Experience working with different materials
• Ability to produce consistent welds
• Comfortable working in a production environment
• Basic grinding and finishing experience
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs (assistance available if needed)
