About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Traveling Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and being on the road. You will travel to multiple sites to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Install, repair, and replace parts and components as needed
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and service documentation
• Ensure all tasks comply with safety standards and company guidelines
• Communicate professionally with site leadership and team members
• Travel regularly to assigned locations (frequency based on business needs)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, electrical work, or a related field
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
• Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel overnight as required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience with power tools, hand tools, and maintenance equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, or technical certifications
• Experience in facilities, manufacturing, or field service
• OSHA or safety training certifications
