We are seeking an experienced HBM Machinist to join our traveling team. This role is ideal for skilled professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working on diverse projects across the country. You will operate and maintain Horizontal Boring Mills (manual and/or CNC) to machine large, precision components for industries such as aerospace, energy, and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate HBM machines (manual or CNC) for boring, milling, drilling, and facing operations on large workpieces.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with tolerances.
• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
• Collaborate with client teams to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience operating Horizontal Boring Mills (manual or CNC).
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and precision measurement tools.
• Familiarity with CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, or similar) preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively and adapt to different work environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.
