Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Forklift Driver for an 8-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of forklift operating experience and a proven track record of safely handling materials in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments. This role requires a dependable individual who can work efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and store materials.
• Move products and materials throughout the facility while following safety protocols.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations as needed.
• Ensure products are handled properly to prevent damage.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of forklift operating experience required.
• Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environments.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse duties.
• Reliable attendance and ability to commit to the full 8-week contract.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating multiple forklift types, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks.
• Experience with RF scanners and inventory systems.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
