Traveling Brazer/Welder

Pay Rate: $34.00 per hour

Location: Nationwide Travel Required

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Traveling Brazers/Welders to support industrial, manufacturing, and construction projects across multiple locations. Candidates will perform high-quality brazing and welding on a variety of metal components and systems while working safely and efficiently in field environments. This position requires frequent travel and the ability to adapt to different job sites and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform brazing, MIG, TIG, Stick, and other welding processes as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures.
• Inspect welded and brazed joints to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Operate welding equipment, hand tools, grinders, and measuring instruments.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Travel to customer locations and project sites as assigned.
• Complete project documentation and daily reports accurately.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of brazing and/or welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and industry standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certification or equivalent welding certification.
• Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, power generation, or construction environments.
• Experience with pipe welding, HVAC brazing, or structural welding.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces.
• Comfortable working in varying weather and job site conditions.
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, and protective clothing.
