Location: Elma, NY

(Travel Contract: Candidate must reside at least 100 miles away from Elma, NY)

We are hiring a Precision Brazer to perform light assembly, brazing, and potential TIG welding on small servo valve components in Elma, NY.

Brazing: Perform manual brazing using an oxy-acetylene torch and operate an induction brazing machine (placing parts into fixtures inside heated coils) depending on the family of parts.
TIG Welding (Optional/As Applicable): Perform TIG welding operations, primarily tack work and occasional seams, on a Miller TIG welder with foot pedal controls.
Blueprint Reading & Inspection: Inspect very small components using calipers, micrometers, and gauges against blueprints, operation sheets, tolerances, and GD&T instructions.
Flux Cleaning: Clean flux off brazed parts using water tanks, boiling water tanks, and/or bead blasting equipment.
Work Setup: Follow work instructions for part numbers, fixture setups, pre-braze joint clearance measurements, temperatures, and run times.

Material Experience: MUST have direct experience working with Stainless Steel (A286 alloy and Monel experience is a plus).
Blueprint Reading: MUST be able to read blueprints and technical work instructions at a minimum.
Background Openings: Open to candidates with direct precision brazing experience, TIG welders willing to learn brazing operations, or HVAC technicians with brazing experience from installation/repair tasks.
Travel Eligibility: Must reside at least 100 miles away from Elma, NY to qualify for travel contract terms.
