Join our dynamic team as a Travel Millwright/Welder in Louisville, KY! We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual who is ready to take on exciting challenges in various locations. As a Travel Millwright/Welder, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

1st shift

Travel is about 35% of the time, but you are going to be dedicated field service.

Any time you are not on the road you will be in shop.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment in various industrial settings.
  • Perform welding tasks using MIG, and Stick welding techniques.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Travel to different job sites as required, often on short notice.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in welding or millwrighting is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a millwright and welder, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in various locations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
