JOB DESCRIPTION:

Training Supervisor

Supervises, coaches, trains, develops and evaluates Training Specialist staff members in multiple locations. Responsible for ensuring delivery of SLAs in all Logistics Centers for annual training. Assists the Sr. Quality Manager with the development of resource plans and budget in support of maintaining training efficiencies in each center in line with Corporate Logistics' strategic objectives. Responsible for delivery of functional End User-level training.

* Managing Remote Human Capital - Supervises a diverse group of Logistics Center Training Specialist staff in multiple locations. Accomplishes work without considerable direction. Assists with career development and training opportunities for the Training Specialists. Responsible for measuring, reporting, and monitoring metrics associated with the delivery of services (SLAs) by individual staff members and the team. * Provide classroom, one-on-one, and OJT training to new and existing employees on the LC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and other opportunities identified by the Corporate Quality team. * Provide facilitation with HR for new employee orientation (NEO), and coordinate/schedule employees for the LRC * Conduct annual OSHA and Safety compliance training, as well as assisting the Maintenance dept with MHE training. * Assist with evaluating the effectiveness of the training program. * Performs ongoing review and updating of existing designated training documentation in concert with Corporate Quality Team. * Planning / Budgeting - Assists with establishing concise and measurable organizational goals/objectives and priorities that are consistent in supporting corporate objectives. Participates in departmental, division, and corporate strategic and tactical planning processes. Represents the department and the logistics operations environment as an active participant in various strategic initiatives, projects and business-related activities that directly impact Logistics.*Performs additional duties as assigned *Meets attendance and punctuality standards

Able to assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate courses of action to take. Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed. Able to set high short/long-term goals/standards of performance for self, subordinates, and others. Able to use relevant computer system applications (which may include spreadsheets, word processors, databases, etc) at a basic level. Able to work independently with minimum supervision. * Ability to effectively operate within an ambiguous environment and independently set team direction, goals and objectives. * Strong leadership capability with effective delegation skills, strong customer service orientation and proven time management skills. Must be highly organized, detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking. * Minimum three to five years supervisor/management experience*Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
