This role assumes a leadership position, setting the direction for other training coordinators along with providing the overall training strategy for the plant. The Training leader advises and coordinates the skill development activities for all plant operations with a focus on management training, employee development, employee work teams, technical and analytical support, training budget, training record management, QCMS and KHMS processes, management of the Certification program, and support Operations and plant objectives.

The position will have responsibility for the management of training for all departments but will also require the flexibility to work across all departments supporting the Plant-Wide Training initiatives. This position will ensure successful completion of all required training and will be required to maintain and report on key training measures. This position uses training exception reports to coordinate training for new hires, transfers, upgrades, and certification of current associates along with maintaining skill matrix and qualification card processes. This position, through the coordination with key job training experts, ensures that the knowledge required to perform the position has been effectively transferred from the trainer to the trainee, and will ensure that documentation of the completed training is maintained as required.
