SUMMARY
Under direction of the training manager, the Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the training of new employees is carried out correctly and, in its entirety, including proper paperwork for assessments, training records and evaluations set forth by the Training Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Champion Guardian Angel program and ambassador safety culture
- Be the point of contact once new hires are released from orientation and moved to the floor at each location
- Ensure the training of new hires is carried out as outlined in the job description
- Maintain timely, accurate and completed/thorough documentation of new hire training.
- Work with Training Manager to deem when new hires are ready for release to work independently
- Assist with new hire evaluations once training is completed
- Collaborate with Training Manager and Production Management to develop and oversee cross-training of current employees
- Create and deliver training materials/alerts aligning with the needs of production and/or safety
- Assist with developing updated work standards for all positions on all lines
- Partner with Media Specialist to create updated training videos assuring all relevant steps are included
- Actively assist with training needs when current “Trainers [Mentors] are not available or are required to focus on other priorities
- Ability to participate/facilitate classroom training as deemed appropriate
- Maintains good attendance record
- Respect for Adheres to strict confidentiality rules regarding employee matters, records, etc.
- Flexibility to work odd shifts and the availability to be called in to address the needs of the business
- Ability to travel 15-20%
- Other duties as assigned by management
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TRAINING
- Having knowledge, proficiency, and understanding of Bulk Operations is preferred.
- Effective ability to communicate ideas and process

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft computer functions (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years previous high-volume manufacturing experience preferred
- Two or more years of experience in training and/or supervising employees, preferably in a manufacturing environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift, pull or push up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand and work in a repetitive operation
- Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
- Ability to work in an environment that may contain dust, fragrance and other production related items
