Job Overview:

Job purpose

●    The Trade Program Manager is primarily responsible for managing domestic trade-related projects, including support for Trade international projects. This includes supplier and customer communications, and successfully maintaining control of internal & external program activities from launch to EOL


Duties and responsibilities

●    Oversee Traded Product APQP activities, including part number & BOM development, program timelines, program updates, PPAP support, IMDS development, and customer & supplier communications.

●    Work with business development, purchasing, and external program management to maintain up-to-date part costs/margins. This includes APR activities.

●    Manage EOL (End of Life) activities.

●    Assist purchasing with customer conflict mineral and other customer product-related surveys.

●    Assist internal suppliers and international Program Management with APQP activities, i.e., PPAP.

●    Assist Suppliers with IMDS and other environmental documents as needed.

●    Travel to Suppliers and Customers when required, including potential international destinations.

●    Work as a liaison between Traded Product Suppliers and Customers.

●    Assist with Quality System development and its maintenance for Traded Products.

●    Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

●    Four (4) year BS degree or equivalent work experience.

●    Two (2) years of Quality & Program Management experience with some Supplier Quality experience preferred.

●    Program management software or timeline development is preferred.

●    Strong Mathematical skills, including the use of basic statistics.

●    Efficient in the use of PC-based software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and project planning.

●     Knowledge of quality assurance standards as outlined in ISO 9001/IATF (TS) 16949 and other designated quality systems is a plus.

●    Proficient in the use of Flow Charts, FMEA, Control Plans, and other AIAG Quality Tools.

●    Good blueprint reading skills.

●    Knowledge and use of AIAG APQP tools.

●    Must have excellent written and communication skills.

●    Must be a mentor and trainer.
