Job Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Tournament Services Coordinator is responsible for delivering personalized, high‑quality service to golf groups within the Bass Pro Shops – Hospitality division. This role ensures each group’s unique preferences for on‑course games, contests, and tournaments are fully understood and executed with precision. Working collaboratively with golf leadership teams, the coordinator oversees all event details to provide exceptional service and consistently exceed guest expectations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Proactively communicate with guests prior to arrival to determine and coordinate their golf tournament service needs
  • Create and manage Events and Tournaments in Golf Genius, including building customized rosters, pairings, and scoring formats
  • Greet and engage guests on property to establish rapport and ensure a seamless tournament experience
  • Manage a high‑volume scheduling calendar with multiple overlapping groups and event timelines
  • Coordinate with each golf course operation to ensure they receive all necessary materials, information, and support for group events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall golf operations and guest satisfaction

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Business
  • Certificate(s) or License(s): Class A PGA Member Preferred
  • 2 years of preferred experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Organizational skills- must be able to multi-task
  • Communication: oral and written
  • Computer skills: Microsoft suite and Golf Genius

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regularly walks, sits, stands and does computer work.

Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
