POSITION OVERVIEW

The purpose of the Driver Courier role is to use the assigned company-owned vehicle to pick up and deliver service requests as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Pick up and deliver service requests and completed toolroom requisitions between all Gentex facilities.
• Manage pickup and delivery of materials between Gentex and supply base.
• Make trips for supplies and pick-ups as assigned, using the company-owned vehicles.
• Keep log information of all deliveries and track accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Exercise basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Provide accurate and proficient service in a professional manner.
• Be a team player, honest, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.
• Maintain high level of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality with respect to company matters.

WHAT TO BRING

• Must possess approved vehicle operator’s license to drive company vehicles.
• Physically able to handle various amounts of bending and light to heavy lifting, as needed.
• Ability to maneuver in and out of vehicle with ease.
• Ability to stand and maneuver around equipment required.

WHAT WILL HELP

• High school degree preferred.
