As a Tooling Support team member, you’ll be at the heart of that mission—ensuring our machinists have the tools they need to deliver excellence.
The Tooling Support role is responsible for preparing, managing, and maintaining tooling setups that enable machinists to perform their work with accuracy, efficiency, and consistency. This role is essential to maintaining production flow and upholding the high standards required in aerospace manufacturing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Key Roles
· Set-up tooling per set-up sheet and deliver to appropriate machine as well as assist machinists and other employees as needed to dispense tooling and tooling accessories.
· Collect tooling from completed jobs, tear down and sort tooling and place in appropriate location.
· Communicate between vendors and coworkers to maintain continuity between shifts and proper inventory levels of tooling
· Maintain safe operations and a clean work area by utilizing 5S and adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
