Here’s what you’ll be doing
You’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing process, ensuring that our custom tooling meets the rigorous demands of our production lines. Your days will be filled with design challenges, hands-on fabrication, and problem-solving that keeps our operations running smoothly.
You’ll:
• Design and fabricate custom tooling components for injection molding and related production equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tooling to minimize downtime and ensure consistent performance.
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams to refine tooling designs and incorporate process improvements.
• Fine-tune tooling parameters to enhance precision, quality, and efficiency across production runs.
• Document tooling specifications, maintenance protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Uphold our commitment to sustainability by developing innovative, eco-friendly tooling solutions.
You need these qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in tooling design, fabrication, and maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and operating CNC machinery or similar fabrication equipment.
• A strong troubleshooting mindset with an impeccable attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment, yet confidently take initiative when needed.
• Familiarity with quality control principles to ensure tooling meets exacting performance standards.
It would be nice if
• You have hands-on experience in tooling for injection molding or similar high-performance production processes.
• You’re knowledgeable about sustainable manufacturing practices and eco-friendly materials.
• You’ve contributed to process improvements using lean manufacturing techniques.
• You’re familiar with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems.
