Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and build production tooling, jigs, fixtures, and specialized equipment to keep operations running at peak performance.
- Create and refine tooling designs using sketches and CAD to improve performance, quality, and efficiency.
- Diagnose tooling issues and implement creative, hands-on solutions to minimize downtime and scrap.
- Partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality to support new tooling development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track and document tooling performance, maintenance history, and critical setup parameters.
- Train and support operators on proper setup and use of tooling and equipment.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives, including GROWTTH and quality-driven programs.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Tool & Die, Manufacturing Technology, or related program (or currently completing your program—graduates encouraged to apply!).
- Hands-on experience (school, internship, or work) with tooling, machining, or mechanical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and/or CAD designs.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of tooling construction, maintenance, or repair processes (steel rule die experience a plus).
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and pride in craftsmanship.
