Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description:

This is a hands-on learning opportunity where the apprentice will be exposed to all aspects of the toolroom, including manual machining, CNC milling, and tool and die making.  The role will involve saw cutting, grinding, turning, and other key processes to support production.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist in squaring blocks and preparing material for machining
• Operate manual machines, including Prototrak mills and lathes, as well as CNC mills
• Learn saw cutting, grinding, turning, and various machining operations
• Participate in tool and die making projects, including troubleshooting and maintenance of tools
• Contribute to all aspects of toolroom operations
• Maintain and organize toolroom equipment, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment

Qualifications / Education / Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in machining or tool and die making is a plus
• Basic knowledge of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators
• Willingness to learn manual machining techniques, tool and die making, and CNC operations
• Ability to work with saws, grinders, lathes, and milling machines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Experience or training in tool and die making or a similar manufacturing field
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T and precision measurements
