What You’ll Do
- Calibrate and repair precision hand tools, including indicators, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height masters, and height gauges.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustment, and repair of precision equipment.
- Identify measurement errors and make appropriate corrections.
- Prepare accurate calibration reports and certificates in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and follow established calibration procedures.
- Perform calibrations using NIST-traceable standards.
- Adapt calibration equipment, standards, and techniques for specialized measurements.
- Provide technical support during customer and quality audits.
- Troubleshoot calibration equipment and resolve measurement-related issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide professional customer service.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of hands-on precision hand tool calibration and repair experience.
- Experience with precision measurement equipment and dimensional calibration.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- ISO/IEC 17025 experience preferred.
- Military PMEL, TMDE, or DOD calibration training preferred.
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident required.
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
