We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tool Maker / CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team in Waterbury, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precision tools and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate precision tools, jigs, and fixtures according to specifications.
• Program and operate CNC machines to produce parts with high accuracy.
• Inspect and test completed tools and components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tool designs and processes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines and tooling equipment.
• Document processes and maintain accurate records of production runs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Advance machiner such as HAAS, Hitachi, Sodick

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Tool Maker and CNC Programmer of at least 5-10 years
• MasterCAM 2025 Expert.
• Proficient in Pro E, AutoCAD, MasterCAM, SolidWorks, CAMworks, Surfcam, and MS Office.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).
• Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
