Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate custom tools and fixtures based on engineering specifications.
• Operate various machining tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to create high-quality components.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues.
• Maintain accurate records of tool designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or tool making preferred.
• Proven experience as a Tool Maker or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and tooling techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
