Job Post DescriptionThe Toolmaker fabricates, repairs, and maintains tooling used in manufacturing operations. This role reads and interprets blueprints, 3D models, and technical drawings and programs, sets up, and operates CNC machine tools and equipment.Responsibilities:Read and understand blueprints, 3D models, and drawingsTroubleshoot new or existing product problems involving design, materials, and processesProgram, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machine tools used in tooling fabrication and repairUtilize precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges as requiredDesign, build, modify, and repair molds, dies, fixtures, and tooling used in rubber manufacturing processesAssist other Tool Shop/Production personnel with projectsTroubleshoot mold problems with minimal production downtimeConduct design reviews for new toolingFollow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe, organized work environmentOther duties as assignedRequired:Ability to read and interpret blueprints, 3D models, and technical drawingsCNC programming, setup, and operation experienceStrong experience with SolidWorks and CamWorks softwarePrecision machining and grinding experienceTool and die fabrication and repair experienceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPreferred:Associate degree in Advanced Manufacturing Design Technology (AMDT) or related fieldRubber manufacturing experienceBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid jury dutyPaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceWork Location: In person
