Job Description

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to support tooling and production operations at their facility in Madison, WI.

**Pay Rate: **$27/hr - $29/hr

**Shift: **3rd shift

Responsibilities:

• Build, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain tooling, dies, fixtures, and related components

• Perform die setups, adjustments, and preventive maintenance activities

• Diagnose tooling and equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency

• Operate tool room machinery including grinders, mills, lathes, and machining equipment

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications

• Inspect tooling and finished components using precision measuring instruments

• Support production teams with tooling modifications and continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain maintenance records, tooling documentation, and work orders within CMMS systems

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Tool & Die certification is a must

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and tooling repair skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications

• Experience operating machining equipment such as mills, grinders, and lathes
