Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Tool and Die Maker for a manufacturing client located in Catoosa, OK. This is a great opportunity for a skilled trades professional who takes pride in precision work and has strong experience building and maintaining dies.

**Hours: **Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pay: $28 to $35 per hour

Position Overview

The Senior Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for designing, building, repairing, and maintaining production dies and tooling used in manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring tooling reliability, product quality, and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities

Build, repair, and maintain production dies and tooling

Troubleshoot and modify existing dies to improve performance and product quality

Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications

Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools as needed

Perform precision measuring and inspections to ensure tooling accuracy

Work closely with engineering and production teams to support manufacturing needs

Maintain documentation related to tooling repairs and modifications

Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Support continuous improvement efforts related to tooling and processes

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of die construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Experience operating lathes, mills, grinders, and other shop equipment

Strong understanding of precision measuring tools and tolerances

Solid problem solving and mechanical aptitude

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Commitment to quality, safety, and craftsmanship

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift and move tooling and materials as required

Manual dexterity for precision machining and assembly work

Comfortable working in a shop environment with machinery and tools
