Job Description

What we are looking for:

-Toolmaker with experience inmetal stamping facility (heavy stamping preferred - 500-ton presses and up) -

-Journeyman (or if you have 6-8 years of experience, will consider an apprentice)- Apprentices are required to rotate once a year to a different shift.Schooling is required through Ivy Tech and we do cover all tuition and books.Apprenticeship is DOL certified

-Progressive and Transfer Dies Experience

-Ability to troubleshoot dies, handle press calls, respond to issues, troubleshoot and diagnose while on the press

-Strong background in TIG (Tungsten) Welding preferred

-DOL Apprentice or Journeyman card (preferred)

*Candidates with only plastic injection molding experience are not a a fit

Benefits and pay

**· $33* per hour to start and $35.25 per hour after 90 days for Journeyman. *Pay Scale for apprentice starts at $22 per hour and can go up to $31 per hour depending on skill, experience and education.*

*May be negotiable based on experience.

· An additional $1(3rd shift premium) or $1.50 (2nd Shift Premium)

· Hiring for 2nd shift Afternoon Shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM EST and 3rd Shift 10pm - 6:30am

· OT Paid at 1.5X after 40 hours

· Typically this role has 150-250 OT hours per year

· Currently working 5 days per week

You should be proficient in:

• Journeyman’s License
• Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills
• Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience
• Blueprint Reading
