We are seeking a dedicated and organized Tool Crib Lead to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the tool crib operations, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly maintained, tracked, and readily available for our production teams. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the tool crib, ensuring efficient inventory management and tool availability.
• Maintain accurate records of tool usage, maintenance, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with production teams to understand tool requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols related to tool handling and storage.
• Conduct regular audits of tools and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Train and mentor team members on proper tool usage and inventory management practices.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and maintenance of tools as needed.
• Assist in the development and improvement of tool crib processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in tool management is a plus.
• Proven experience in a tool crib or inventory management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to tool handling.
• Ability to lift and move heavy tools and equipment as needed.
