We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker for a direct hire opportunity in the vibrant cities of Shakopee and Minneapolis, MN. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining the tools and dies that are essential for our production processes. Responsibilities

Design, fabricate, and repair tooling and dies for production machinery.
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to create precise components.
Utilize various machining tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce high-quality parts.
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure tools and dies meet specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
Continuously improve processes and suggest enhancements for efficiency.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in Tool and Die Making preferred.
Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role.
Strong understanding of machining processes and tool design.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
