Description
Pay Range: $22 - $31/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Summary: Plans, designs, and constructs, or repairs a wide variety of highly intricate and complicated
tools, dies, gauges, fixtures, to extremely close tolerances.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Constructs tools where a design is or isn't available
Select allowances and devises mechanism detail
Highly skilled fitting, adjusting, and timing
Performs any tool room machine operation
Works from complicated drawing and sketches
Uses advanced shop mathematics and all types of precision measuring instruments
Do skilled fitting, timing, and adjusting
Supervises die construction and/or completes tool making operations, together with related maintenance
Education and/or Experience:
One-year certification from trade school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience. 8+ years tool room experience.
