Tool and Die Maker-Mid Shift or 2nd Shift - Flexible Hours! 

SFS Group USA, Inc. is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to join our team in Wyomissing, PA.  You will be a key member of the manufacturing team by focusing on making dies and tooling to keep production running efficiently. This positions offers a salary range of $55,000-$75,000/annually.
 

Key Responsibilities

Uses tools and dies to build fixtures; creates dies as required to construct new fixtures.

• Repairs dies, molds, and tools when needed; disassembles molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then reassembles when repaired. 
• Reads and understands blueprints and complicated schematics as required to create and build new fixtures, tools, and machine parts.
• Inspects completed tools and dies for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality.  
• Regularly tests all equipment, tools, and machines to ensure they are arranged and set properly and working efficiently.
• Modifies machines to control speed, material feed, or path of cut as required to ensure a quality product is produced within specifications.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Successful completion of an apprentice program or vocational technical training with a licensed professional or established company required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely and accurately operate all measuring and production equipment.
• Working understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and algebra.
• Ability to work independently, and with engineers and machinists.  
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25-30lbs

Please note: the Tool and Die Maker will train on 1st shift or mid shift. Standard second shift hours are 2pm-10:30pm. Flexibility for specific hours can be provided within business needs.
