Job Description

We are looking for an experienced tool and die maker for a manufacturer in Saxonburg, PA. This location has around 100 employees and offers a warm friendly team atmosphere:

• Some who is able to make all types of dies.

• Capable of operating all types of machines in tool and die shop within .0005 of any part of any tool.

• Must also be able to do bench work in die assembly and personally do fitting required to make die operate efficiently.

• Can take all component parts of a tool, die or fixture and quickly diagnose what changes are required, where metal is to be removed, what parts require high polish and finish.

• Ability to program, set-up, and operate CNC and related machines, create, load, and save programs per established procedures.

• Perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance programs for proper machine performance.

• Capable of instructing others in all aspects of the job. Works without supervision.

• Furnish the tools.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry 35 pounds on occasion.

• A background check is required.

We are looking for candidates who have worked for the following types of materials and equipment commonly used in tool and die shops:

Basic tools, plus precision measuring instruments, inspection tools and equipment, heat treating furnace, or sand blasting machines.

Carbon steel, tool steel, carbide and copper tungsten, electrode material, fluxes,solder, oils, sand blasting media, emery cloth, or diamond paste 

We are looking for candidates in the $25.00- 35.00 an hour range. Pay rate will depend on skills and experience.

Schedule: 6am- 2pm- Monday- Friday with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
