Job Overview:

We’re partnering with our client, a manufacturing company, to find a talented Tool and Die Maker. This role is based on-site and offers a Temp to Perm employment opportunity. Join a team committed to precision and craftsmanship, supporting toolmaking operations with a variety of technical tasks.

Tool and Die Maker Responsibilities:

  • Construct, develop, alter, and repair tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and special machinery according to specifications.
  • Operate all related toolroom machinery and instruct others in their use.
  • Independently produce tools from drawings or I.G.E.S. files through final assembly, adhering to established procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with design, engineering, vendors, and customers to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the tool repair process, and expedite repairs with vendors when necessary.

Tool and Die Maker Qualifications:

  • Possession of a journeyman card or at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to independently produce tooling from provided drawings or I.G.E.S. files, following proper methods.
  • Proficiency in measuring and machining parts to precise tolerances.
  • Experience operating CNC machines, mills, lathes, grinders, drills, and heat treat equipment.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical and drug screening, along with background checks.

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
