Tool & Die Maker

**Location: **Indianapolis, IN East

Evaluation to Hire

**Pay: **$20-25/hr BOE

Schedule: 6a–2:30p

Description:

• Build and repair custom machine shop tools
• Extensive use of machining equipment and measuring instruments
• Work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify prototypes, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and molds
• Operate lathes, grinders, milling, and boring machines to produce tools.

Requirements:

• At least 1-2 year experience in the field
• Must be able to operate manual lathes, grinders, milling, and boring machines to produce tools
• Ability to use and read precision tools, such as, calipers, gauges and micrometers
