Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tool and Die Maker to join our team in Bluffton, IN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process by designing, fabricating, and maintaining precision tools and dies used in production. Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate precision tools, dies, and fixtures according to specifications.
• Set up and operate various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Inspect and test completed tools and dies to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain and repair existing tools and dies to extend their lifespan and functionality.
• Document processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in Tool and Die Making preferred.
• Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and tooling.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
