Overview

EARN up to $2600/WEEK

Flextrades is hiring Tool/Die Techs with 5+ years of recent experience for a 3-6 mos contract in Connecticut.

Experience with progressive stamping die troubleshooting, maintenance and repair required

• Pay: $42/hr
• 50hrs/week GUARANTEED (OT over 40)
• $45 per diem (tax-free), 7 days a week
• Private hotel accommodations (we handle the booking)

• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Travel time compensation

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair progressive stamping dies and tooling.

• Set up and support production stamping presses ranging from 60-ton to 330-ton capacity.

• Read and evaluate progressive strips to diagnose tooling and production issues.

• Inspect parts and verify quality requirements during setup and production runs.

• Support tool changeovers, die installations, and production startup activities.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and related material handling equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Tool & Die, tooling repair, or progressive stamping experience.

• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining progressive dies.

• Experience setting up production stamping presses from 60T to 330T.

• Progressive stamping background required.

• Knowledge of Wintriss controls.

• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and production quality requirements.

• Experience in medical, aerospace, or other precision manufacturing environments preferred.

• Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience
