What you'll do:
- Build and repair tooling using manual and CNC machining equipment
- Work from blueprints, drawings, and sketches to create or modify tools
- Troubleshoot tooling, dies, and fixtures with minimal supervision
- Perform machine setup and support production as needed
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
- Support rapid prototyping and tool design improvements
- Document work using Global Shop (work orders, logs, etc.)
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical school training or 5+ years of related experience
- Experience in a machine shop environment (2, 3, and 5-axis preferred)
- Strong background with manual equipment (lathe, Bridgeport, surface grinder, jig
bore)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions on repairs
- Basic computer skills

Physical / Work Environment
- Standing and walking most of the shift
- Lifting up to 45+ lbs regularly

Pay Range
A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range for this role is $25 – $40 USD. Please note
that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on
factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional
achievement, business need, and location.
