Job Summary: The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for creating, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure the production of high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, construct, and maintain precision tools, dies, and fixtures.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate tools and dies.
  • Operate and maintain various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance on tools and dies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any issues with tools and dies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tool and die designs and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in tool and die making preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tool and die making.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of machining and metalworking processes.
  • Experience with CAD software and CNC machinery is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
