Overview

Flextrades is hiring WELDERS with 4+ years experience in manufacturing for contracts across the US. We are looking for skilled techs who are looking for travelling contracts onsite for 5 to 6 month duration.

Contracts for Welders: TIG, MIG, SubArc SAW, FitUp, Repair

Project Specs:

• 5-6 Month Duration onsite (WI, NH, CO, MN, AL, TN)
• Pay Rate $30-34/hr dending on contract
• 50hrs/week GUARANTEED
• $45 per diem (tax-free), 7 days a week
• Private hotel accommodations (we handle the booking)
• Must pass a background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on various components and assemblies in a manufacturing setting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections and tests on welded joints to ensure quality and integrity.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in optimal working condition.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (4+ years) as a Welder in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience welding stainless, Inconel, aluminum, nickel, thin and heavy gauge tubing, etc.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• AWS D17.1 Certification is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
