Job Overview:

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description: The TIG welder is responsible for producing aerospace parts via TIG welding processes. This position requires a minimum of 5 years aerospace welding experience, and you must demonstrate your ability to weld during the interview process. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm – 2:30 am. This shift pays an additional 20% shift differential.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Weld using TIG equipment
  • Deburr parts using handheld tools
  • Cleaning and washing parts to remove manufacturing oils, dirt and debris
  • Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations
  • Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc.
  • Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System
  • Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors and other staff
  • Other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience aerospace welding metals including Inconel, Stainless Steel and Titanium
  • Post-secondary CNC education preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity
  • Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
